| Does Grand Catering do tastings? |
At Grand Catering we are a very unique corporation. Not only do we specialize in weddings and special events on the weekends, we also have corporate events Monday through Friday as well as a full-service banquet facility - The Grandview Pavilion. This means that our kitchen staff is in full production seven days a week. Unlike a lot of catering companies that specialize in either weekend or weekday events, We do it all!
Because our kitchen staff is preparing food for events 7 days a week, we are unavailable to schedule individual tastings for our clients. We understand that it may be frustrating not to taste menu items that you are considering for your event, ahead of time. Therefore, we shall do anything that we can to assist you in choosing the perfect menu for your event.
We send out evaluation reports after every event that we cater to make certain that our clients are satisfied. You may view our client testimonials and, upon your request, we can send you our client list.
Grand Catering has been in business since 1982, and we've had the same Executive Chef in our kitchen for twelve years. Our client list and reputation speaks for itself. However, if you aren't familiar with us, please let us know how we can assist you.
If this is your first time planning an event and you don’t even know where to start...No problem! A lot of our clients experience first-time event planning with us. We are committed to providing you the assistance so that your event will be fabulous! Contact us now so that we can get you started in the right direction and answer any questions that you have about your event. |

| How much staff will I need for my event? |

|
| Speaking of bartenders….Can Grand Catering provide bar services for my event? |

|
| I cannot believe that people showed up to my event that did not RSVP! Am I going to have enough food? |
We understand that there are many unexpected variables that happen at events for which you are unprepared. Please keep in mind that you will be charged for any and all guests that attend your event over your final provided guest count. |
|
| The location I have chosen for my event is charging a 10% caterer’s fee. What is that? |
There are some locations and venues that charge caterers a percentage of your catering bill - in most cases between 5%-10%. You will see this charge at the bottom of your catering bill. You may want to ask the venue you are choosing if they do charge this being that it will be an extra cost to you. |
|
| The venue I am using needs me to provide a lot of information and paper work for the caterer I want to use. I don’t really understand what they need. Can you help me with that? |
You have enough on your plate planning an event; you don’t need to worry about this, too. Just have your venue contact Grand Catering directly and we can send them all the appropriate information they need. In most cases, all they need is our proof of insurance, liquor license and business license. We’ll handle it, so you don’t have to! |
|
| All I want is catered food, not a fully staffed event. Will you do that? |
In most cases, we will. Just let us know that you want a “set up only”. This means we will come to the location of the event and set up the full buffet including utensils, and then pick up the equipment after the event is completed. |
